On 1 July 2026, the first Belarus-China Regional Forum was held in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, People's Republic of China.
The large-scale event brought together more than 350 participants, including senior officials and representatives of government authorities, leading companies and higher education institutions from both countries.
The forum served as an important platform for showcasing the investment potential of the Great Stone Industrial Park, promoting its opportunities to the Chinese business community, and strengthening practical cooperation between the regions of Belarus and China.
As part of the forum, two new Chinese-invested resident companies were registered in the Great Stone Industrial Park. The companies plan to implement projects in the fields of biotechnology and advanced medical materials. In addition, a Memorandum of Intent was signed with Shanghai EDA Medical & Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. for investment in the establishment of a manufacturing facility for blood bags and blood component containers.
On the sidelines of the forum, officials of the Great Stone Industrial Park held meetings with representatives of the governments of Gansu and Shaanxi provinces. A series of B2B meetings was also conducted with Chinese companies operating in the pharmaceutical, logistics and other industries.
