The regional qualifying stage of the 5th SCO Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held at the Sinomach Torch Park in the Great Stone Industrial Park.
The event brought together representatives of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the China–SCO Center for Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation, the Great Stone Industrial Park, its resident company Sinomachbel LLC, and the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University.
More than 200 participants joined the event both online and in person.
A total of 25 projects were presented during the qualifying stage, including projects developed by Dewiar AI, an innovation-driven company operating in the industrial park, Great Stone resident Aviation Technologies and Systems, and startup Arcana.
The final of the competition will be held in June in Qingdao.
