As part of efforts to attract investment and strengthen cooperation with the PRC, during the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai, the management team and representatives of the Great Stone Industrial Park engaged in business meetings with Chinese enterprises and organisations.
During negotiations with the authorities of Hongkou District of Shanghai, the parties discussed the prospect for signing a Memorandum of Cooperation. While visiting the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce, the delegation presented the investment and infrastructure potential of the Industrial Park and highlighted promising areas for further collaboration.
Special emphasis was placed on fostering collaboration in the medical and biotechnology sectors. The preferences and opportunities offered by the Great Stone Industrial Park were presented to partners at meetings with companies from Shanghai and Chongqing, as well as with representatives of the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Medical Device Industry Development Promotion Association.
The Park’s delegation also visited Shanghai Aowei Technology Development Co., Ltd., an enterprise that has established a resident company in the Park – Chengdu Xinzhu Silk Road Development, as well as held meetings with the management of Chinese companies that are shareholders of the Industrial Park Development Company.
