On 22nd September 2022, a ceremony to mark the departure of the first train with Belarusian peat to China, took place at the industrial park. The event was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. It was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus, the Administration and the Industrial Park Development company, the association for fuel production and gasification Beltopgaz, the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Railways and Turshovka OJSC.
In establishing the supply of peat to the PRC, the Industrial Development Company acted as the organizer, with Great Stone resident, China Merchants CNN-BELAR Commercial and Logistics Company, as the forwarder of the project. The partners from China are attracted by reserves and advanced technologies for the extraction and production of this mineral in Belarus. In the future, it is planned to expand cooperation between Belarus and China in this area.
