On October 1, the first customs office and customs terminal was opened in the “Great Stone” Industrial park.
New customs terminal qualifies for all the international requirements, provides conditions for comfortable and quick cargo execution.
About 125 trucks will be able to enter the customs control area simultaneously. Till the end of the year it is planned to provide freight flow for the custom clearance formalities in the number of at least 20 hundred vehicles per year.
The work on the projects of creating robotized terminal for the express cargo handling and mailing, as well as creating pharmacological logistic cluster has already been started.
Over the time there also will be possible to initiate commodities arriving over flight, later it will be possible to initiate commodities arriving over the railway transportation. As the result “Great Stone” will become a multimode logistic hub.
The opening of the customs terminal has also coincided with Chinese national holiday - National Day of the People's Republic of China. The new object will make a contribution to the building of the “Silk road Economic belt” logistic corridor and will emphasize the importance and the authority of the China-Belarus Industrial Park.
