Heads of Bosch Head office in Germany and its representatives in Himki (Russia) and Minsk (Belarus) met with the head of MAZ-Weichai at the territory of the Great Stone Industrial Park.
MAZ-Weichai is a joint project of Belarussian MAZ and Chinese Weichai. Thus, new plant on the production of diesel engine for MAZ, CJSC is going to be constructed in Great Stone. The construction has started in April 2018 and first output is planed for the end of this year. Nobody doubts that all this plans are going to be implemented.
Bosch Group has already established business relations with WeiChai in China. During the visit of Great Stone Park Bosch representatives examined development process of MAZ-Weichai new project, conditions and prospects for the company in EAEU in general and Industrial Park in particular as well as plans for the localization of engine production in Belarus.
Representatives of Bosch Company familiarized themselves with the advantages of the Park and plans of its development. Great Stone promises to form of not less than 4% of the country`s GDP. Park benefits related to all areas of the companies economic activity and residents may enjoy them until 2062. Based on such conditions any investment project become effective and economically viable and final product become competitive at the international market.
The meeting revealed another advantage of the Park due to the presence of an international airport on its territory. Great Stone is becoming a new point for building partnerships, sharing experiences and making strategic decisions.
